A year after our launch, our board, staff and volunteers last night announced the winners of our first ever funding rounds grants.
All managers from across Bendigo Health were asked to submit applications for funding for staff scholarships, medical equipment or funds for various projects to improve services at Bendigo Health.
Last night the applicants found out where the funding had been allocated at our funding rounds announcement evening at the Boardwalk Restaurant and Cafe.
Monies allocated through the funding roundshave been donated by local businesses and staff (through workplace giving), raffles and many other fundraising activities and events.
Sanctuary for Kids
'Sanctuary for kids' is all about making hospital a better, brighter and friendlier place for our children. 'Sanctuary for Kids' is also about improving medical techniques, purchasing specialist medical equipment, funding nursing scholarships and reducing the number of children that are referred to Melbourne for treatment

Through the support of our community Bendigo Health has helped improve the lives of cancer patients while they receive treatment in Bendigo. You can help us continue this wonderful service to patients.
Medical Equipment
The Bendigo Health foundation plays a very important role by funding new medical equipment. Medical technologies are continually being developed and Bendigo Health like many hospitals want to offer the most up-to-date treatments to their patients. The Bendigo Health Foundation assists by funding this new technology and equipment.
