Frequently Asked QuestionsFind out moreIf we haven't been able to answer your question here, please email our Foundation Director Jane Anderson janderson@bendigohealth.org.au or phone the Foundation office on (03) 5454 9169.
In addition to a donation, are there any other ways I can help the Bendigo Health Foundation with their work in the community? Yes! There are many different ways you can help, such as: In-kind donations - other types of donations are always welcome, by attending Bendigo Health Foundation's events, sponsorship - promote your business and your community links, visit our gift shop and buying a gift or item and volunteering - your skills, talents, knowledge and time are just as valuable! Will I receive a receipt for my donation? We will provide you with a donation receipt for any donations over $2.00 which is tax deductible. Can I still donate money to a specific area, project or for the purchase of medical equipment? Of course! We will continue to respect and fulfil donor's wishes in directing their donation to their specific purpose or area. Where will my donation go to? The Bendigo Health Foundation guarantees that 100% of funds raised will be used to fund specialist medical equipment, patient focussed projects, scholarships and / or research. Isn't it the government's responsibility to fund our public hospitals? Yes, but government funding only stretches so far. Each year the Bendigo Health Foundation will provide state-of-the-art medical equipment and services that would not normally be available through government funding channels. What happens to my donation? The Bendigo Health Foundation works closely with hospital staff and management to ensure that funding is directed into areas most in need. Your donation will be used to fund new medical equipment and projects that improve patient services. |
