Medical equipment

The Bendigo Health Foundation plays a very important role by funding new medical equipment. Medical technologies are continually being developed and Bendigo Health like many hospitals want to offer the most up-to-date treatments to their patients. The Bendigo Health Foundation assists by funding this new technology and equipment.

Recently purchased

Mobile ultrasound for Emergency department – this allows clinical staff to diagnose an ectopic pregnancy, decide if a bone is broken or find a splinter in a small child’s finger rather than sending the child to surgery.

Blood pressure machines, heart monitor, paediatric bladder scanner, mobile Nitrous oxide unit – all improved the paediatric service in the Child and Adolescent unit.
